I just don't think Pedro is a no 9. The only way Ferguson is going to improve is by giving him minutes. Start him and Enciso.
I agree that Joao Pedro isn't an out-and-out striker. Ferguson has had plenty of minutes and has shown no sign of improvement. I just think that Joao Pedro needs to adapt to the role for this game, alongside those playing around him facilitating his game.
Interesting that, thus far, there hasn't been any dissension about the proposal/hope of Wieffer starting. Doubt that'll last.

Veltman - JPVH - Igor- Pervis
Wieffer - Baleba
Minteh- Giorginio- Mitoma
Pedro
Veltman essential - hope he's back.
Would like to see Wieffer shielding the centre backs.

The front four doesn't really matter.
We have enough quality up there to be winning these games.
Can see an argument for shaking it up after a disappointing run of games.

Can everyone stop dropping Dunk please. He's our captain and leader and by god we need that.

There are players you drop when they're off form, Dunk is not one of them.
Nah he's finished, bit like the previous twelve times he had two meh games in a row.

Velts (thank god....) JPvH Dunk Pervis
Wieffer (no 6) Baleba (no 8)
Enciso Rutter Mitoma
Ferguson

I'm benching Pedro after last Sunday's 'performance' and Ayari is nowhere near my starting line up, West Ham will adopt the same physical tactics as Palace did and he came up short. When we don't have the ball Rutter drops into a midfield 3.
If Hinch was fit he would start too and I'd move Baleba forward into Rutter's spot.
Ferguson has an hour to show me he gives a shit.

I think we need the physicality, and solidity of position, in midfield that Baleba and Wieffer SHOULD be able to provide together. Let's see.

This is what I’d go with, in terms of the first 11, although I’d probably play Enciso rather than his Paraguayan cousin Encisco.

10 of the players don’t matter though. As long as Veltman’s back, we’re winning every game from now until the rest of the season.

In fact, as Veltman’s back, we could even include Weifer to give West Ham a fighting chance.
