Yeah, let's take pop shots at the PL-inexperienced coach and the dwell on the individual words and phrases he uses in a language that doesn't come naturally to him (I'm not accepting the 'Yeah, but he's American' shite).

Our fans sometimes, man!

I’ve heard ‘trust the process’ comment quite a few times from Fabian. He is an advocate of the James Clear ‘atomic habits’ (book) which often speaks of the process of gaining improvement and focusing on the process of getting there rather than always thinking of the end game objective.
The author, had a serious accident as a child and then went through a long and protracted period of sticking to good habits to regain his physical strength and baseball abilities until he became a relatively successful baseball player.
It’s an interesting read and the author talks a lot of sense.
I believe that Fabian gave a copy of the book to his St Pauli players. Not sure that would be openly accepted by all in the squad?
anyway, can we stick the ball in the net more frequently than West Ham on Saturday please Fabian.

Par for the course.
Don’t take it too seriously. It’s NSC, a football forum for a few Seagulls fans.
I do know that ‘ultra high processed’ food isn’t meant to be good for you, so let us hope the same doesn’t apply in UHP footballers……..or perhaps it does and that is our present problem.😉😁

Thanks. I don't, but I still think it's worth highlighting the point...

I don't mind the process and I do trust in it. I understand the process of building a team and it isn't done yet. Our boys don't know each other well on or off the pitch. It is a process to make that happen. Hopefully we can win a game or two now and they can happily get absolutely shitfaced together at the Christmas party/parties.

However, not sure I would a phrase that has the culturally charged meaning of "I have no clue what I'm doing" as my catchphrase.

It's a smokescreen that various managers tend to hide behind to make it seem like they have a masterplan
Hughton - We`re getting there

Potter - It is what it is

De Zerbi - It`s complicated

Hurzeler - It`s the process

As you say it`s the same thing , when we win it`s working , when we lose it didn`t work , it`s all BS - the only constant .......................

I’m fairly sure that I have heard Arteta talking about trusting the process so that makes me hate it and think it’s a pile of *****

Look, it's just an equivalent of 'keep the faith' 'don't get to high when you win don't get too low when you lose', we're not as good as you think we are, not as bad as you think we are', so on and so forth.

It's about patience. A trait that is undervalued but is so essential when trying to rise up the premier league.

It is not a bloody stick to beat us with because we haven't won in four. I've spent considerable periods of my life with Brighton not having won in four. We're going to get through this boys!

We will get through it but the bedwetters will need another 10 threads to whinge on before we do 😂

What is Tony's process?

Has it been successful?

Is he good at processes?

Should we trust in Tony and his processes?

Could the signing of a young and inexperienced manager be one of Tony's processes?

Do Tony's processes usually work out?

If they don't does he pull the pin when necessary?

Are we bed-wetting unnecessarily?

Yeah, me too.

I always buy marrowfat. I don't know the difference between them and processed. I guess with marrowfat there is no process. Just chaos.
It’s a puzzle, still small things make big changes as the theory goes. Maybe a butterfly in South America will help us get a few goals on Saturday And keep a clean sheet.

Of course, the chaos theory. Existence is a dynamic system thus the butterfly effect applies. If one of us had simply taken the time to smile at, or indeed ask Sarr for his autograph, before the match on Sunday it would all have been different. The easy thing, of course, would have been to take an unflushed shit in their dressing room.

Or if he had eaten a tin of marrow fat peas Sarr could have done the deed himself in the dressing room before the game, and missed the game. Small things indeed!

Whatever it is, just trust the f*** out of it, OK?

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has been speaking to BBC Match of the Day following the draw: "I think it is two points lost in the end, because there were plenty of big chances.
"We weren't able to score and we weren't able to keep a clean sheet, then we got punished for that one mistake.
"In the end, it was our fault that we didn't leave the pitch as winners.
"There were positives things, but we also need to get a result to get out of this circle of bad experiences. It is the business to get results, if you want to achieve something.
"We have to get our higher standards back. We can defend better. We have to keep going and we have to trust the process."

Song for Fab

Angry faces, cursing loud
Changing places, falling proud
Behind the bomb, no one cares
Time is money
We're taught to tear
It's all part of the process
We all love looking down
All we want is some success
But the chance is never around
It's all part of the process
We all love looking down
All we want is some success
But the chance is never around

This would actually sound great sung loud by 30000
