I get that, but my point still stands,I see 1000s moan they can't get tiks or near getting top tier, you need to do the hards yards
Oh, i agree with that part (especially as one who has done a lot of hard yards) but i think it was the link with palace and the fact we are still selling tickets at the moment that i was trying to highlight. I also lay more blame at the door of the sometimes ludicrous scheduling than i do at fans for not going to crazily timed fixtures.
Another part of block P9 is now open so they are still selling albeit slowly, i estimate a total of about 2330 so far.

Good grief mate, it's a Monday night between Chrimbo and NYE... it's a place with poor parking options, not very near the city centre, no away friendly pubs.... if we get 2k I'll think that's decent.
Monday night during the holiday period, no work the next day, plenty of parking at Star City, 10 mins on the train from the centre.

Not everyone is lucky enough to get the week between Xmas and New Year off, for a lot of people the 30th and 31st are normal working days.
But the majority of people would be off over Xmas with no work the next day.

Absolutely marvellous purchase history scenes!

Whats the consensus on parking please?

Last time I went to Villa Park (when we played them in the FA.Cup) there was cash parking in one of the car parks on the industrial estate on the Holte End side of the ground, with a nice stroll up to the ground. Is that still an option?

If you don’t mind a 20 min walk, park at Star city. Easy to get back on the M6 afterwards.

20 minute walk is ideal, thanks (y)

Any idea on the cost, and if spaces have to be pre booked?

Edit: Just found it. Looks ideal! Thanks

For those staying overnight and coming home by train on New Years Eve, you may need to rearrange your plans, as trains from New Street are likely to be effected by strike action.

Probably best to return from Moor Street

And our fans calling palace tinpot, we can't sell out despite flying in the league and fans always complaining, we never fail to amaze

This aged well 🤣

Anyway while I’m on (and I’m usually on the ball with this type of thing) are they getting emailed?

I’ve had a look but ’m a bit under the kosh at the moment and don’t want to miss anything
