The EDF paradox is that it would be really useful on weekday evening games which is exactly when we can't have it due to the EDF office folk needing the parking spaces. It's infuriating as it would reduced the train usage on both the west coast mainline and the Brighton - Falmer route.

I think unless there are rail issues and/or unavailability of the usual park and rides and parking options, then they won't consider EDF or Pycombe.

To be fair what we have is probably enough when all open, but I wish they were available more often as they are a lot less hassle and time consuming.
On BHA website says southern running an “amended” service whatever that means! We used to have three P&R so no reason ( other than cost) to have one of the options added on a regular basis .

Sainsburys West Hove would be a good alternative to EDF for evening games. Worked well when they have used it before. Maybe an issue with having to suspend the 3hr time limit for the whole car park that now stops them using it

Can't see EDF being opened for Sunday when the Albion are still flogging tickets to park at the Bridge.

When it first started opening there weren't travel disruptions, it just ran as an additional P&R. Definitely has been in place on Saturday afternoons when trains were fine before.
This.

The EDF algorithm seems to be completely random and is quite beyond me. At various times its been open on weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. I know because as soon as it comes up, I pounce on it like Greg Wallace on a newbie P/A. Its been frustratingly rare this season, and I know not why.

Yes, club changed policy at the beginning of the season, it was posted on here in an update from Supporter Services that it would only get used wuen there was disruption.

No disruption, no EDF. Which is a shame
