There seem to be a few whispers linking us with the Leeds centre-back, along with Spurs and Wolves.

Maybe we're trying to build a side entirely made up of Dutch players (he's Dutch-ish).

This will undoubtedly please those who want us to strengthen at the back. Unless he's shit of course - I really have no idea.

Isn’t he Leeds’s captain?
If so, fine by me as anything that weakens the mighty whites and sends their fans into another meltdown is fantastic news

by no means a bad player, in fact probably one of the best centre backs in the championship, however he has the turning speed of an oil tanker so i’m not really sure he’s what we need

I suspect it's been recognised via the complex stats model that a bit like how if ravens leave the Tower of London it'll collapse, the absence of a Pascal in our squad in recent weeks has led to a downturn in performance. This looks like a timely, and good, solution.
