I'd sooner we dispensed entirely with the idea of a permanent manager and had a series of guest star head coaches for each PL match... based on the opposition... for example, this week calls for Dave Bassett to get into the lads and tell them TO f***ing SORT THEIR f***ing SHIT OUT etc.

Villa tried a guest star head coach, but it didn't work out and eventually they hired a real one.

Forget that, we need one of the genius tacticians that frequent NSC, telling us it's time for the head coach to go.
Whoever submits the best tactical plan to PBOBE via NSC, describing in detail how they will ensure that the Albion, win every game during the rest of the season, and will go unbeaten for at least 100 league games, gets the chance to leave their keyboard skills behind and step into the Amex dugout to lead the team to glory.

Obviously when at the training complex, just remember not to take any pictures of your new workplace.

Excellent - then we could also have Mike Bassett!! Not sure that we have a Benson or a Hedges for the team sheet......

Lewes have a Danny Bassett and Eddie Allsop. When they announce the Team it sounds like Bassets Allsorts!
