We simply have no game management or in game experience and intelligence.

What a ****ing mess

It's true, but what are we supposed to do when they're all injured?

Getting some solidity back at fullback now is vital, Lamptey and Estupiñan just can't defend. The sooner Ferdi and Veltman are back the Better.

I'm starting to think our model is not as sustainable as we would like to think. We need the teenagers to hit the ground running. But all of them are forwards

Someone needs to ask why so many injuries again, it was suppose to be better this year with the medical investment, we keep getting told players are close and we don't see them anywhere near the squad.

Don’t dare let them off the hook with their age. Chelsea (c*nts) have barely played a player over 23 all season and look at them. Amongst those kids playing today, every single starting player other than Rutter is a full international. 4 of them for the nations of Netherlands, Brazil and England. They bottled it plain and simple nothing to do with their age.

Veltman and Wellbeck would have made a massive difference. You could see Rutter and especially Pedro - who's really getting on my nerves recently, immediately go into petulant 'it's not me it's them' mode.

Also no way Veltman jumps UNDER a nothing clearance like my 7 year old daughter does with her eyes shut.

Not age on its own but there was a HUGE amount of emotional immaturity on display. You know its bad when Enciso is looking like the most mature and encouraging player when he comes on.

This. Not only have we got a ton of injuries but the players we do have are physically weak.

This includes the manager, he doesn't know how to get the best out of them. With none of them playing at the levels that they consistently achieve under the last manager.

Well hang on. They've got a billion pounds worth of kids. They've gone out and spent their unlimited money on the best young talent in the world.

We've bought a load of unproven prospects

And yes, we've got some decent young talent ourselves, but we've got nobody in there who is streetwise and very few who are mature enough to come out on top physically in a congested match like that

Fair point to say that most of our senior players are injured, and that's maybe luck, (but if I was Barber i'd be hauling them into a room and quiz them strongly out why this continues to happen).

But partly it's our model isn't it? Just all this looking a year over the horizon all the time means we've got a number of players just not mature enough, just not well equipped enough to go and win battles in a game like that.

The Palace manager saw us coming

Interesting isn’t it.

Last season the itk’s said Roberto caused the injury crisis.

Even worse we’ve had exactly the wrong group injured both seasons. Last season pretty much all our attacking talent. This season experienced players Veltman and Welbeck and versatile ones like Hinshelwood and Kadioglu. Just as we need experience, leadership and options they’re on the treatment table.

Unless the new medical staff are some kind of magic shamans we're not really going to see immediate impact from the changes made this summer. A poorly conditioned groin doesn't magically turn great overnight just because there's a new doc in the building.

If it looks similar in a year I'd say there are more reason to be concerned.

Lerma and Hughes over 400 Prem games
Baleba and Atari 50 games(half as subs)
Both very good young players but together against experience opposition not sure. Our other 3 central midfielders our also Premiership novices. Spent £200 million on attack minded players but they need to get the ball in good areas from a decent midfield. This is the managers responsibility!

Enzo has won the World Cup. Caicedo, Colwill, Tosin have ample PL experience. Cucurella was a star of the Euros again with good experience, Jadon Sancho has played for some of the world's biggest clubs and, when they're shit, they've got arguably the best young player in the country in Cole Palmer to cover their shortcomings. Plus there's all the crap they signed for another fortune that's knocking about Cobham, only getting to play against European pub teams. It's hardly comparable.
