It has to be said he has made a squad with a significant sum of money invested in it over the summer worse. We have a good start to the season despite never playing that well, but we have now well and truly been found out. He looks completely out of his depth.

By all means I can live with a mid table finish this year but the way we are playing is appalling.

Not sure I am in the out camp yet but no system I can see and no real obvious style. He needs some results now otherwise the crowd will turn on him as we have the best squad we have ever had and he can’t seem to utilise it effectively.

I'm not one to jump on the bandwagon but he needs to steady this ship and sharpish otherwise I can see a lot of people asking for his head.

This result is a massive blow for Hurzeler. He will have lost a lot of the fans after this.

He really needs to get us out of this rut PDQ. He is potentially a few bad results from the sack now.

I don't think the great start of the season was fluke, but he needs to prove that he can fix some glaring issues which are costing us points, in order to demonstrate he is a Premier League quality head coach
Brighton manager, four points of the ECL and 12 points off relegation is now looking at a.New Year sacking. I'm sure most of the football world would agree and commend the patience shown thus far.

Which defender has had an outstanding (almost) first half of the season in terms of defensive duties? Just Igor?

Lamptey isn't a PL defender, Dunk's game has declined.

Thing is, we can't beat the shit teams at all now, something will have to change soon...

BUT he has the best squad we have ever had and yet doesn’t seem to have a clue who our best 11 are. I am not impressed with him over the last few games and he also bores me with his pre and post match interviews. I wonder if he also bores the players

The directors’ box must have entertained the thought by now. You can’t compete at the top level with a German exchange student in charge. It’s going to happen eventually: might as well do it now.

I agree with your intimation. B&HA are on a bad little run but seem to be having terrible luck with injuries. I'm confident form will pick up dramatically when enough of the absentees return.

One thing's certain, Mr Bloom knows what he's doing. I would not be surprised if Fabian Hurzeler turns out to be your greatest ever manager. But I appreciate losing at home to the Croydon outfit smarts right now!

I'm not Fab out yet, but he's really showing inexperience at the moment.

Can we really afford to be the kindergarten for both a squad of young but inconsistent players and a young but inconsistent manager at the same time?

We were told of his revolutionary tactics at St Pauli - where are they? It all just seems a bit wonky and naive.

I still think he'll come good but my god that was poor today. He switched things up after the high line was found out, now he needs to address the full backs going missing. Dunk and Mitoma shouldn't be dead certs for a start either as things stand.
