This is right up the street of the BBC these days. Exactly the type of reality show that creates division in the public and thus viewing figures...The red top papers getting clicks out of the improbability of pitting people with disabilities against people who might have experience but have "found themselves on the dance floor"...Just awful, yet people lap it up..the vitriol on various Facebook and Instagram pages for people who dared to say Chris wasn't the best dancer is just beyond ridiculous...

The result last night, whilst I competely understand how hard it was for Chris to actually compete, was a joke. The social media / red top voters had pegged Chris to win way back in week one.. and thus the whole series became click bait....so sad....Len would roll in his grave...that was my last series sadly...

And without even watching the Christmas Special I know that the racing driver will win

Isn’t it a bit past it’s sell by date now? Not sure what the criteria is for winning. Lowest starting point? Overcoming greatest disability? Best dancer? Most popular person? …… but then I don’t watch it 🤣🤣🤣
Let the viewing figures decide that.

I pitched a reality show to the BBC where he assumes the identity of the lead singer of Marillion but they didn’t like it.

Indeed. He wasn't. Craig was the only judge to mark critically with two scores of 8, but even he gave in to misty-eyed sentiment on the final dance.

A hero as to what Chris has overcome to even consider it and a complete triumph of determination overcoming adversity, but not the best dancer.

But as others have said, it's about popularity first and foremost and not necessarily talent.

Montell would've made the SF over Pete Wicks and his trousers in that scenario, and 'best dancer' Tasha wouldn't have been involved in 2 dance-offs.

Oh they have re shot it have they😉
I'll watch it purely to see Josh Widdecombe dancing dressed as a penguin. I have a feeling that an actual penguin could do better.

But yes, if the spoiler's right (and it hasn't been wrong so far), it won't be Billy.

Not surprised.

It's neither Fish nor flesh.

Just far enough away from LDC
It’s no longer a dance competition, more of a popularity contest. If it were purely dance, Tasha would have won it easily. Even one of the judges, Anton, said she was the best celebrity dancer he’d seen in 20 years of the show.
She is actually a trained dancer already. So yes a celebrity but certainly had an advantage
