I am playing him deeper next to Baleba!!Yeah, it’s definitely the No. 10 position where we’ve been short of numbers.
I thought that was one of his positions?

Based upon postings in regard to other foreign signings by @Joey Jo Jo Jr. Shabadoo, Albion won't be able to apply for Gomez' work permit until he has signed his Albion contract (which is presumably what he is here to do now). And he may need to leave the country and re-enter once he has that work permit.
Given the way Albion operate, there is no way they will allow Gomez to start work (ie training etc) until all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.
(Bobby Zamora is a UK citizen so it is a completely different scenario - I'm sure Albion don't want to fall foul of the nation's employment regulations).

What if his not "training with the club" but is instead "having a bit of a kick around with his new mates?"I would imagine he can't do that until his work permit has been obtained. Not sure of the exact steps to make that happen - I'm sure someone on here will fill in that detail.
Would he be insured if he's not formally registered? What if his not "training with the club" but is instead "having a bit of a kick around with his new mates?"
Wink, wink
His contract would make him an employee of the club so he’d be covered by insurance. His registration enables us to play him in games. They are separate factors and enable him to do different parts of his job.Would he be insured if he's not formally registered?
Our squad isn’t close to being balanced at the moment.I think it is, who knows? But then where do O’Riley, Weiffer, Hinshelwood, Milner or Ayari play?
I’m not convinced our squad is entirely balanced atm.
Yes. See club website!Yes, yes. But are we sure he is actually coming?
confirmed
If he’s comparing the weather between Miami and Brighton at the moment I imagine he’s already on his way home.First sign was for Brighton, next sign was for Heathrow, and then we saw a plane landing. Does this mean he's leaving?

What’s that Diego, how long will this rain last for? Oh only till about mid April if we are lucky.
the obligatory interview (he's aiming for the title with us, at least thats how I choose to interpret it)
It was the driver driving to Heathrow to pick him up, hence why the plane lands at the end.First sign was for Brighton, next sign was for Heathrow, and then we saw a plane landing. Does this mean he's leaving?
