[Help] Central heating / dual zone issue

We have a dual zone control (Myson) upstairs and downstairs.

For the last few days if i put the heating on downstairs, upstairs also comes on even though it doesnt need it according to the control upstairs.

So apart from me turning off all the upstairs rads in the day and then back on when i need them any suggestions from the NSC hive mind ? Is it a setting somewhere maybe I have knocked or is it time to call an expert ?

Where a jumper downstairs?

It is 6 degrees F / -14.5 degrees C outside in NW Indiana right now. I wear a "sweater" in my house most of the winter.

Yes all rads and towel rails upstairs come on now. Its never done this before so im sure there is an issue somewhere.

My guess is that the motorised valve (zone valve) is not working properly, it’s stuck in the open position.
Some makes of valve can be fixed by replacing a Syncron motor inside the valve head.

Find a large hammer and hit every radiator valve you can find as hard as you can to dislodge whatever is stuck *

* This might not work

@juliant this would be my best guess too.
