Over rated and full of 5ways village idiots prepared to stand in line for an hour for a slice of sough dough toast and a oat latte.
Seconding this. With all the great cafes in Brighton I'm amazed to see people queuing up for this one. I realised that it's on some sort of 'timeout' best cafes list so no doubt full of visitors.

It's literally 'alright'

Sleep, pop head ache pills, masturbate, order pizza. Same all over the world.

You got that right, only here the Trump supporters masturbate to Trump speeches.

You could park up at Withdean and show the Welsh massive where we used to play, maybe have a walk around the nature reserve to stretch your legs. There's various ways to access the pitch itself for a photo opportunity in the original dugouts. You could further recreate the authentic Withdean experience by tipping buckets of cold water over your heads. Oh, and the Sportsman does a really good breakfast buffet from 9am for about a tenner. If you do that, don't fanny around with the parking apps in the car park, you can register your car on the screen just inside the door of the pub

If you have teenagers in the group this is the answer. We live up the road and when my teenage son found out how much for HOW MUCH, we never saw him on a sunday morning again

Alright, calm down, I will put you down for a flat white and croissant with marmite and dairylea
Marmite & Primula work really well on crumpets, never thought to try it on croissants!

Sleep is my only answer for early on a Sun morn. A walk in Stanmer Park may have been nice but it's an actual mud bath atm, so won't be. I think there is some sort of Xmas market going on but I have no ideas of opening times. I have not seen evidence of it's existence aside from yellow signs telling the 'production teams' where to go. Hmmm, I've not been very helpful, sorry! 🤦‍♀️

A trip to the sportsman for brekkie and a rekkie is a banging idea,my god Withers was a dump but it certainly played it's part in our journey, who could forget the pitch invader in a wheelchair only to get a clip round the ear from his dad 🤣

You could walk down Madeira Drive/the boardwalk to the Reading Room cafe near Black Rock Station and have a coffee/breakfast whilst enjoying the sea view. Not actually been there but run past it a few times and it looks decent.
