You don’t have to be a twat for people to call you a twat on here, you twat 😂

Edit - I feel I need to edit this - I was definitely joking in a ‘I‘m with you mate’ kind of way - I don’t think you’re a twat by any stretch of the imagination, quite the opposite 🙂
No need for the edit (although thanks for confirming :lolol:).

As is usually the case, the line between joking around and twattery is clear enough to people who aren't themselves twats.

I was blocked by Simon Reeve once, does that count?.... I suggested that floating repeatedly around the world at taxpayers expense ( via the BBC budget)... didn't really synch with his well publicised, and very committed socialist ideals.
I got blocked by Todd Hoffman of Gold Rush fame for suggesting that continually praying to God to put gold in the ground wasn't the best way to improve their chances.

Christmas reminds me of the shortest Mobile Disco I ever did.
Very large company had two people organising their Christmas Party for 1000 staff, and they had differing ideas.
One wanted a band and one wanted a disco/karaoke.
I turned up and spent the usual 3 hours setting up for sound, lights and full karaoke. Then the band arrived and I had to 'get out of their way'.
Then the 'other' woman turns up, the one that wanted the band and tells me thet my woman wasn't coming, I can play one song, someone wanted one karaoke tune (it was Abba) and then introduce the band. I could go home after that. Took my £700 and dissmantled the gear around the band.
PS They were hopeless and had no one dancing except the woman who wanted them.

As I said above, the majority of us on this forum don’t use neurodivergence as a defence -

- I have never used my neurodivergence as an excuse to be a dick but I often have to explain the ways that my brain is wired differently because I have inadvertently been one…but neurotypical people can be utter dicks to neurodivergent people too.

I also have Functional Neurological Disorder which is another brain disfunction condition related to autism but effects the central nervous system - it causes severe mental fatigue and brain fog among a host of physical symtoms - it’s only relevant in that I make a load of errors typing posts both in content and structure of sentences so have to edit a lot and end up post a lot of crap anyway!🫠. It can certainly make you look like a bellend but it isn’t intentional.

Yes it is - but the fact someone feels the need to do that says to me that they have genuine MH issues or other disabilities that they are not owning up to - I mean it’s just not frickin normal by any stretch of the imagination to pretend to have a disability - I mean, who the fcuk does that? Therefore, maybe just being kind and putting someone on ignore (or the mods reducing access ) is the kindest thing to do in that situation.
There's a lad on the football forum of one of my non league teams who I think is at the top of the spectrum. He spams the board with stuff and it's clear that he is autistic (my ex partner was high functioning so I recognise the traits at a lesser level). It did become quite irritating but I could see his ways and decided not to place him on ignore but to engage kindly. Others knew that if they didn't want to engage or see them they could just filter him out. Either option is fine. Unfortunately one or two ignorant ***** decided to have a go and one said 'he was not quite the ticket' which upset and angered me.

I think in these days of apparent 'wokery' most folk are socially aware enough to understand differences in the way communication happens and also understand how to navigate around it. But there are still a few left. I would argue that if anyone is not quite the ticket it's them. They are ten times more insufferable than anyone else.

Interesting hobby , must keep you occupied for hours each day trawling other peeps posts
it's just a bit of house keeping. the right wing nutjobs that continually get banned from the forum keep re-registering with alternative usernames, and other such deviousness. the anonymity gives them the confidence to reveal the inner workings of their minds which they may well keep concealed, IRL
