Absolutely cannot sell him in January for any price. He's literally priceless in that window, more so if the bidder is a Premier League rival.

I can see him going in the summer for a shit ton of money leaving Georginho the starting 10 next season and us possibly getting in another striker or keeping one that we loaned out, depending on squad assessment. I don't reckon Tony would take less than 80 mill personally.

JP going at the end of this season is pretty certain in my opinion. ( won’t sell in Jan).
£80/90m is my guess at market value.
Just hope he gives everything between now and the summer.
All part of our recruitment and selling process.
Rutter is stepping up nicely to replace him.
The difference between them though is the goals aspect. Pedro is a natural goalscorer - Rutter doesn't seem to be. His strengths lie in the other aspects of forward play - all the running, dribbling, tackling and so on. The two together are a great combination (although actually I think Rutter & Welbeck are a more effective partnership to date).

Not as much as Baleba is my guess so about £109.3 M plus a signed photo of Pep, because that's where he'll end up.

This sounds about right to me. I cannot see us agreeing to a January sale unless Pedro demands it. I am resigned to him going in the summer because that is probably part of the plan.

The problem with people saying 80m+ is that nobody can afford to pay that, so something has to give. Either we accept a lesser offer because that's what the market can afford or we hold on to a potentially unhappy player although JP doesn't seem like the type to throw his toys out the pram.

I'd want 100m

And at the end of season with several interested parties we should get it, certainly close.

The problem with him is i can see him kicking up a fuss if he dose not get his way... i hope to be proven wrong

I'm not sure £80m is out of the reaches of the clubs who are being linked with him atm. Liverpool did of course bid £105m for Caicedo and may have a huge Salah shaped gap in their squad next season. If reports are to be believed that Liverpool are set to offer Salah a £400k a week deal, then I can't see them also going for JP.

Despite that there'll be huge competition for his signature anyway. He'd improve almost every team in the top six and compared to other similar options that I've seen touted, his wage demands will likely be lower than others. One of the reasons we're able to get these fairly large fees is because the buying club doesn't have to persuade the player to join on massive wages - their averages are way higher than our highest earners. It's a huge green flag for buying clubs.

Brighton factually.....
100m @ the end of the season, Liverpool are the type of team to contact us and do a deal prior to the end of the season.
Something similar to allegedly the Caicedo deal yet he wanted to go to Chelsea so it was not our fault that deal collapsed.

We cannot afford to let him go in January, I personally think he is the best natural finisher we have had since Zamora, the whole crowd rise to their feet when is heading towards the twelve yard box, he is just electric on the ball.

More of the same Sunday Pedro, this is priceless.....
