Thunder Bolt
Silly old bat
On a show where he could end up with 1p?He's young and was after a deposit and a honeymoon.
If he was 75 and had a few quid then fair play.
Reckless.
I‘ve no doubt he already had savings.

How could he have ended up with that?On a show where he could end up with 1p?

He did though he lost £ 37750Some people like the thrill of a gamble. He still won £25K
He couldn’t lose.
He didn’t lose what he didn‘t have. It was just an offer. He did though he lost £ 37750
He had £62,500 in his hand, gave back £37,500 in greed hoping to win the Biggie. He didn’t lose what he didn‘t have. It was just an offer.
He did have it 100%He didn’t lose what he didn‘t have. It was just an offer.
No, he didn’t. I could offer you £1 but until you accept, and I place it in your hand, it isn’t real.He did have it 100%
Had he accepted, yes.He did have it 100%
Hardly the first, despite what Stephen Mulhern said. People won £100K when Noel Edmunds hosted it.It is pure luck if he had taken the £ 100 k out 3rd from end the offer would have been about £ 14 k with the 2 left then, he got £ 25 k but for me £ 62 k guaranteed in a no brainer but also the ego of being the first to get the £ 100 k and the confetti coming down must be a temptation
The £250k jackpot was won a few times on the old Channel 4 version but hyping up the potential first jackpot win on the ITV reboot is to be expected.Hardly the first, despite what Stephen Mulhern said. People won £100K when Noel Edmunds hosted it.
It’s called greed.Madness again today to turn down £ 62750. What is wrong with these people ?
But he actually lost over £40k….I think he knew worse case scenario he’d won £25k and was happy with that. Well worth a shot at £100k. Might have been different if there was 10p & £100k!
The 60 k was real cash ….an offer yes but real cash he lost 40kHe didn’t lose what he didn‘t have. It was just an offer.
Cutting the potential main prize from £250K to just £100K has removed a lot of the jeopardy / excitement now. I'm guessing that ITV doesn't have the same resources as C4. (Or they have spent the £150K on Mulhern's salary.)The £250k jackpot was won a few times on the old Channel 4 version but hyping up the potential first jackpot win on the ITV reboot is to be expected.
