No. Now we know that door 3 is a goat, the remaining doors both have a 1/2 chance of concealing the car.
No - door 1 is still 1/3.

Doors 2 and 3 together have a 2/3 chance at the beginning. Finding out that it's not door 3 means that all of the 2/3 chance is now imputed onto door 2.

Worthing
I remember Mad magazine doing a cartoon where the contestants had won the entire state of Texas but carried on gambling.
I like it when people end up with next to nothing.

Another greedy git today…..£25k and £100k remaining, turned down well over £60k.

Revealed £25k.

Why the greed?
I think he knew worse case scenario he’d won £25k and was happy with that. Well worth a shot at £100k. Might have been different if there was 10p & £100k!

Not the way I would look at it. The £25k is already banked, so it was basically a simple 40k bet (the 40k could have been banked as well) on the equivalent of a toss of a coin.

He’ll regret it for YEARS

It's a bizarre situation because if he'd been asked to bet £35,000 of his own money on a 50/50 to win £100,000 (which is essentially what he did) he probably wouldn't have even considered it, but I suppose they don't regard the sum they're betting as really theirs because they never really had it in the first place (although he essentially did).

Here's an idea to speed up the show and end that endless, mindless, soothsaying, Nostradamus like bollox:

"Right mate - pick a f*****g box and open it - that's your cash! Now f*** off.
I didn't watch today but I definitely feel the new format of "Deal and f*** off" as proposed here is a much better option.

Vinny Jones would make an ideal host. "You've dealt, Now f*** off" Will be up there with "Nice to see you, to see you nice" before you know it

He could, and he did. £40k.
It was an offer. He arrived with nothing and left with £25K. As he said, he would only be on the show once.
For the record I would’ve accepted the offer, but I can understand those who want the thrill of a gamble. He was self employed so used to taking risks.
