Hawksbee was my old boss. Gave me my first job in journalism. Lovely chap. He has been carrying Jacobs for years though.
Imho they're reminiscent of the pair on R6 (Mark Radcliffe and Riley or similar) who discuss things like favourite biscuit or crisp flavour, getting into the real minutiae of it, quintessentially British observations, love that sort of inane dry stuff.

Yes Prefer Hawksbee & Baker, just a bit more fun. Torquay seem to be racking up a few Comedian fans, not as many as Palace, obviously....

Actually applied to be in the audience at the xmas eve show. Unlikely to get through, but worth a stab!

Goldstein though - Jees, where to start. Probably a decent bloke (who knows?) but comes across as just someone who wants to be hated ;)

Please tell me Albion-baiting idiot Rory Jennings hasn't been given the afternoon slot as a permanent gig. I'm presuming it's just for the festive period...

That is funny.

They say that they can't speak to him without permission from a parent. They then proceed to chat with him anyway, despite knowing they don't have permission from his parent.
