Us Albion fans should remember the first time we got this sort of alert...
That wasn't actually my first, in true look at me tradition, I got this one whilst skiing in Romania Dec 22:

Anyone would think we never had stormy weather before
A Red warning is very rare. That’s applied to Ireland, Wales, and the north west of England.

We’re lucky it’s only a yellow warning here, amber in the West country up to Glos.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
It is a bit windy up here.

Merseyside Derby has been postponed.

Can't be that bad as reporters are standing outside in Wales and there are people out walking their dogs and also jogging. 😆

They cancelled the Christmas fair/market where I live it’s a little breezy and hardly raining ffs. As my old nan would say you’re not a sugar lump get out there and carry on.
The old war time spirit.

I’m not surprised re Wales….they dare not to after the criticism of giving a lower grade warning re the last storm

The storm has passed Wales now and centred over the North Sea.

The roof of Wiltshire station blew onto the track.

Yes, the centre of circulation is over the North Sea so the most intense winds in the inner edge have moved with it but the stormy weather from the outer bands of the storm circulation are very much over the SW still and are moving east over the Country so high winds and potential flooding still ongoing..

I think we are safe Russia can hardly invade their next door neighbour.
Replied to wrong post? - Im not the one wearing the tin hat here and suggesting this is anything more than a bona fide risk to life weather alert!!

As for being able to ‘hardly invade’ their ‘next door neighbour’, wrong thread but Ukrainians living in the annexed region of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine would profoundly disagree with you.
