I imagine we can say farewall to top 4 now for the rest of the season. Everyone else from 5-13 could end up anywhere in between those positions... going to be a crazy season.

Mersey derby game off, means I've two hours to waste now.
Agree the top 4 are going to move away now. Just got to hope they win both domestic cups as well to allow 6th & 7th in Europe.
The table seems to have 4 mini leagues. 1-4, 5-13, 14-17 and 18-20.

No no no, top 4 not out of sight early December. Unlikely given our failure to beat bottom teams but still plenty of time yet.
Indeed this early hysteria has gone hyperbolic this season.
Unfortunately for us we have ran out of top teams to play and can’t beat the rest.

That made me chuckle, mainly because it's true

Tomorrow we will have the chance to go above Citeh. They are playing the last club they need to play right now given their recent run of poor form. Coming up against world class players at the most intimidating arena in world football is too much too soon for them. Haaland won't touch the ball; he'll be completely neutralised by the little fella.

Maybe we are at the stage where teams raise their game against us? I heard Saints fans exiting the Amex saying just how much of a great result it was for them. We are widely seen as a very good side, which we are but we are beatable due to our soft underbelly. Dare I say it, like Spurs. When we turn it on, we can take any team to the cleaners but we are capable of very shite performances too. Perhaps understandble with a few gaps in our defense and squad age. Teams fighting down the bottom are hard games, especially if they start seeing us as a game where any points gained are a bonus. Those teams then after struggle when the pressure is on them having to win vs teams around them.
If we just managed that little bit more consistency we'd be top 6 easy! Premier League is not easy folks.
