Giving £200 mil to this guy is tragic! Imagine what RDZ would have done with that sort of money!
I'm bloody frustrated too, but nobody gave 200m to Hurzeler.

RDZ left because Bloom wanted to stick to his moneyball system and not managers choosing players.

Hurzeler is here because of it, and the 200m spent would be 95% based on Blooms system of identifying players.

That felt doomed from the start. Three centre backs with JPVH shoved to the right was targeted all day. He could not cope. He is our best centre back but Fab decided he could not leave one out for dunk so played all three. Adingra at right wing back is something I don’t ever wish to see again. His tracking back was a shambles. He did not tackle. He just jogged and left JPVH exposed several times.

We then hooked JPVH and we looked vulnerable in the middle without him. I don’t think it is a coincidence we conceded without him on the pitch.

Pedro kept coming too deep and Weifer was basically pointless.

A really disappointing day but then I have had a shocking 24 hours with a daughter collapsing and spending most of it in hospital (but she seems fine now). Makes you realise the game doesn’t really matter but that was still really annoying.

Hopefully this will make Hurzeler realise that he should never go 3 at the back again. However, I think he is a weak manager so I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries it again.

It's the only thing that wakes us up. If we get high up the table, we get arrogant and complacent. Been like this for years and years. Sometimes backs against the wall bravery/defiance, then the same team are arrogant/complacent at other times.

We are not winners and will achieve NOTHING (top 6 of a cup win) with this mentality. Soft as shit. Shame as we're good enough.
No one goes above us. Fulham 1 point behind.

Played the better football. The formation nullified them. But gave them the first goal, and Lamptey with his touch that is clumsier than Greg Wallace gave away the second and that was that. That’s the football for you. We need to buy a RB.

What's all the fuss about? We're top half in the prem with nearly half the season gone. Good chance to qualify for Europe, we've lost our third game of the season and it's December. We've been the better team in most games we've played.

Bit of perspective

We are so naive. Again no game management at 1-1. Trying to keeping on attacking and forget about defending and being solid. On the Manager this

Every fcking game against them is the same. They time waste, have barely any of the ball and end up winning the game. I say next time we play them at their own game and just start going down time wasting every 5 minutes and boot the ball up field.

Unlucky chaps. Decent performance, but too many soft goals cost us. In particular, the first goal made it an uphill battle early on. Fulham defended really well.

This young team will learn from this. We should feel disappointed, but not dejected.

A difficult fixture where we played great football, but didn't come away with the points - a rarity this season.

Onwards and upwards!
What? We had plenty of opportunities to win that, especially after equalising, but we were NOWHERE NEAR GOOD ENOUGH.

Fair play to Fulham. They’ve played well, we’ve succumbed to a number of individual errors.

Despite the result, I don’t think we had the wrong formation, the three man central defence allowed us to rule midfield for most of the game. we looked worse when JPvH came off and we had to switch to a back four.

A bad day at the office, but I’m actually encouraged by how good we looked playing three at the back. Clearly we need reinforcements at CB if we want to play this way regularly. The squad’s got no cover with all three of our CBs on the pitch.
