Deal obviously. Voted No deal by accident on the poll which is the only circumstances I wouldn't take that offer.

That's a crazy offer.

Used to be a big fan of the show back in the day! Noel, however weird, was a fantastic host of it.

Who hosts it now?
It's Stephen Mulhern. Sadly incoming is going to be a revelation that he's got a drink problem methinks. Hadn't seen him on much for a while but say this show the other day and he's got puffy look around his face that says booze rather than the food. I believe his father died recently which wont have helped.

Suppose you're on a game show, and you're given the choice of three doors. Behind one door is a car, behind the others, goats. You pick a door, say #1, and the host, who knows what's behind the doors, opens another door, say #3, which has a goat. He says to you, "Do you want to pick door #2?" Is it to your advantage to switch your choice of doors?

Yes.

The original door has a 1/3 chance of concealing a car.

The newly offered door has a 1/2 chance.

Here's an idea to speed up the show and end that endless, mindless, soothsaying, Nostradamus like bollox:

"Right mate - pick a f*****g box and open it - that's your cash! Now f*** off.
It is too much crap isn't it. All the chat rubbish and thinking that it's a tough game show when it's simply total random and down to luck.

It depends on whether you prefer cars or goats.

Sheer and utter greed, the offer was more than generous.

Not sure what the average win is, but whatever the 'board' I'd say 10kish is where to pack your bags.

But then we'd miss the opportunity to laugh at stupid Americans.

"Do you want to take an offer of £1m, or would you like what's in your box?"
"You only get this chance once, so I'd like to take what's in the box. Wish me luck everyone!"
"Open it. Right there's nothing in your box, now f*** off."
