Typically six ties are chosen for live TV.

The eight in bold below are more likely to be selected than us, and several others have more of a story attached to them than Norwich v Brighton.

Southampton v Swansea City
Arsenal v Manchester United
Exeter City v Oxford United
Leyton Orient v Derby County
Reading v Burnley
Aston Villa v West Ham
Norwich City v Brighton & Hove Albion
Manchester City v Salford
Millwall v Dagenham & Redbrige
Liverpool v Accrington Stanley
Bristol City v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Preston North End v Charlton Athletic
Chelsea v Morecambe
Middlesbrough v Blackburn Rovers
Bournemouth v West Bromwich Albion
Mansfield Town v Wigan Athletic
Tamworth v Tottenham
Hull City v Doncaster Rovers
Sunderland v Stoke City
Leicester City v Queens Park Rangers
Brentford v Plymouth Argyle
Coventry City v Sheffield Wednesday
Newcastle United v Bromley
Everton v Peterborough United
Wycombe Wanderers v Portsmouth
Birmingham City v Lincoln City
Leeds United v Harrogate Town
Nottingham Forest v Luton Town
Sheffield United v Cardiff City
Ipswich Town v Bristol Rovers
Fulham v Watford
Crystal Palace v Stockport County
You'd expect the games at Leeds Newcastle, Chelsea Liverpool and City to be home bankers. Not much jeopardy for TV viewers but a lot more possible upsets at Leicester Bournemouth and Southampton! Wouldn't be surprised if we're not televised if we hang around our current position?

Fantastic draw for me, love the city which is really underrated as a great weekend away and has so many great pubs, some of whom might let me back in now it’s been a fair few decades since my student days there. Hope we get a decent allocation.

Think that route is more expensive.

Same with Brighton to Cambridge and Cambridge to Norwich.
With no trains running from Liverpool Street to Norwich or from Brighton->London->Cambridge, what’s the alternative to getting a train to Peterborough then through to Norwich?

I was just responding to a specific post about no trains to Norwich from Brighton via Cambridge or Liverpool Street.

- if you’d rather sit on a bus for 5-6 hours to save a few quid that’s up to you! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Early train from London Liverpool Street to Audley End then come and watch my U14s seems like the obvious alternative.

(Though I’ve yet to see any noticeable uptick in interest for the fixture. Odd).

Remember a power cut a Carrow Road in winter with a bit of snow on the ground. Game abandoned 🙁

When was the last time we were drawn at home in the third round of the FA cup, opponents and score ?
That'll be when we were rightly parked by the MASSIVE in 2020

Are the tickets available online yet?

That’s why I am saying go to Peterborough from King’s X on the LNER Leeds train - it is a different line than the Cambridge train. (In fact looking at Trainline, the train to Peterborough from King’s X is direct and takes the same amount as time as the slow train to Cambridge)

The Thameslink from Brighton will take you to St Pancras/King’s Cross.

It’s my area and I have used all these routes - there’s frequent engineering works on the Cambridge London stretch 🙄
Seriously can we have one away day when the bloody trains are running. Is that too much to ask?
