I’m sure re-occurring dreams are important….. My teeth often fall out in my dreams ( my hamsteads are terrible) and I often can’t work the brakes in whatever vehicle I’m in in my dreams.

Oh and the Charlize Theron one but I know why that comes round

Dreaming about falling out is horrific I’ve had it once very disturbing. Some say it’s means death not necessarily for you could be someone you know.

I regularly have dreams where I'm dying, or about to die. It's linked to anxiety and possibly a form of depression. Teeth falling out is fairly common as well, also linked to anxiety. It isn't something that really worries me but I know a lot of people really put a lot of stock in dream content.

I just woke up one minute ago after a dream that he had sent me some tea in a plastic bag along with the text "What's the word for when there's an orchestra in the background that you can't hear but is still there?"

This was after quite a long dream where I had somewhat randomly encountered him twice through mutual friends, once at a pub and the journey to McDonalds afterwards, and then at some Dutch football club where he encountered me saying some wise words to the goalkeeper.

What did you dream tonight?

NURSE....!! he's out of bed again.......NURSE....!!

teeth falling out is linked to sexual issues apparently , i often dream i am kissing farm animals whilst getting fisted by Angela Ripon and when i wake up i am right down the bottom of the bed with a knotted pillowcase hanging out of my arse .

And within a MINUTE of waking up, you are posting on NSC ? Crikey.

I mean I know my post count is ridiculous, but I can't recall coming on here to start a thread before I've even got up and pinched a loaf.

Excuse me for having slightly more otherworldly dreams than the "I made a sandwich and hugged a beautiful woman" ones people seem to have here...

Yup. I used to do a five minute MS Paint diary of all my dreams back in the day, looking something like this:

paintdream.jpg

And from that I sort of learnt that if I do anything before "saving" the dream, I'm likely to forget it. So when I woke up this morning I just reached for my laptop and made the thread. Obviously it delayed my coffee and cigarette with about three minutes but I can live with it.

It could quite be about death because it was an incredibly hard last 2 1/2 years with Mrs Q battling cancer. I had a dreams dictionary years ago which was based on Freud and others who had interpretations of such stuff through dreams and the sub-conscious self.

Blimey even at 61 I’d let the tripod down before posting

My tea is now sprayed across the desk....I should have learnt by now to be "nil by mouth" whilst reading NSC:facepalm:

I had a dream last night.

One of my best ever.

I was playing for the Albion and the ball came to me in a corner situation. I was about 30 yards out and saw a gap and shot.

It was a low hard shot on target. But suddenly, Joao Pedro was there on the goal line and back heeled my shot into the net.

We’d scored.

I then had the most glorious sense of euphoria as I realised I’d always be remembered for this assist.

I wasn’t too happy about waking up and realising that it was a dream; I felt like that little boy near Lewes with the melted snowman at Christmas.

More drugs please nurse!

That sounds a bit annoying, surely Pedro 'stole' your moment?

No. It didn’t play out like that.

There were two frames of references that I had. The first being that I wasn’t very good, like Ali Dia but a lot worse. The second being that I didn’t really believe I was going to score. So just getting an assist was enough. Pedro was very pleased with me.

The whole experience was very satisfying.

Don’t worry. JP would have been offside anyway.
