Haha, I was just watching that on the news. Whilst I love snakes I think that would freak me out a bit!
There’s a Lowland Copperhead in our local park. I always walk along his (her?) ‘patch’ when it’s warm to see if it’s around! Although the dog has to stay on her lead in that area🐍🐍

That video mentions a shit load of horrible things? I am guessing you are talking about funnel webs (glad to say we don't get them in Victoria).

Really? Redbacks are everywhere but they keep themselves to themelves, under wood and tin usually. Its funnel webs that New South Waleans have to check their shoes for.

Freak you out! Lucky. If that were to happen to me I'd either snuff it of shock instantly or spend the rest of my days in a MH facility.

One time I was in Byron Bay and we were walking my friend's mongrel of a dog along a grassy track. It suddenly veered off the track and started sniffing about in the grass. Then emerged with a brown snake clamped in its jaws. It then proceeded to shake the snake about a bit before flicking its head back and chucking the snake in the air FFS! Now not being an Aussie I don't normally share their fear of innocuous-looking brown snakes. But encountering one at eye-level made me reconsider my stance somewhat. And my friend jumped clean out of her crocs
