On a related note, good to see Ben Brereton Díaz forging a successful football career for himself following the stalled chart success of Curiosity Killed The Cat
Maybe he should go back to it as he's a bit of a Jonah on the football pitch.

Yesterday was the 7th point a team playing Ben Breteton Diaz have won in the Premier League. All have been draws. Across 14 appearances for Sheffield United and 8 for Southampton he is yet to finish on a winning team.

He was an unused sub for Southampton's win against Everton and wasn't in the squad for Sheffield United's win at Luton last season which are the only two Premier League games those sides have won since he signed for them.

I’m less convinced that he’ll leave Saints soon. He left once, for Chelsea, and came back two months later, feeling homesick.

That experience might encourage him to sit tight and be the local star boy for a bit. Obviously if /when they go down, that becomes much less likely - especially if he’s on England’s radar.

Bound to be injured and out for a long time, as only wearing ankle socks and smaller shin pads than a matchbox.
A luxury player and did next to nothing defensively, reminded me of Mr Tumble a star in a small pond, but will be lost and ineffective if moves onto bigger ponds

Needs to invest in a pair of shin pads or the lad will do himself an injury
Must be something about the number 33

Late era Kaz levels of throwing himself over defenders' legs. You love to see it when its digging your team out of trouble. It's annoying when the opposition do it so blatantly and the ref buys it every time.
