….for me getting home. 60 minutes exactly final whistle to front door (user name’s the clue) Train to Newhaven then the 12, beat my personal best by at least half an hour.

I’m sure you’re all pleased for me.
Travel and suds were perfect for me. The country drive was smooth with a capital smoo.

We found a table pre match, just as the incumbents were leaving. Drinkies ordered super fast at the surprisingly efficient bar.

At one-up, half time refreshments were ordered at the w Upper outlet, with no queue, and our spot by the window was free.

We returned for the second half thinking 'nothing can go wrong now'.

Back in Sussex
I did say to @e77 that it may well have been our quickest ever escape from the Amex to Worthing.

Checking now, I pasted the horrible "two points dropped?" thead at 10:04 when I was still at my seat in the WSU.

By 11:04 we were somewhere around Lyons Farm, so on the fringes of Worthing, and back in Findon a few minutes later.

I left early and probably didn't need to judging by what I've read on here.

It’s not like South London here ???
I felt much shame after that comment. I actually quite like the place, although I feel the town centre planners should be placed on trial.

Don’t worry
The A259 going through Newhaven is the worst part of living here, I try not to drive unless I’m working.
Thankfully I avoided this weeks episode of traffic chaos
