So Dunk, Minteh, Lamptey are back in the squad and (possibly) Kadioglu. No Baleba due to the suspension.
No Hinshelwood, March (although he must be close now given training pix), Milner.

So looks like its 11 from this 21 or 22.

Verbruggen, Steele
Lamptey, Veltman, JPVH, Igor, Dunk, Estupinan + Kadioglu ?
Moder, Ayari, Wieffer, O Riley
Minteh, Mitoma, Adingra, Gruda
Georginho, Pedro, Enciso
Welbeck, Ferguson

*EDIT - missed out Gruda. Minteh was ill last week which explains his Bournemouth absence.

No Gruda?

If Ferdi is fit then Lamptey drops out.

Can't see Enciso starting, was playing for the U21s this week. I'm going to guess we'll go

Verbruggen
Veltman JPVH Igor Estupinian
Wieffer Ayari
Georginho Pedro Mitoma
Welbeck

Dunk on the bench, Minteh, O'Riley and Adingra all capable impact subs. Weiffer in as the more defensive CM.

This, but with O'riley for Wieffer for me.

Home game with a lot of possesion so O'Riley who will be more of a goal threat in for Ayari

Yes this.

I think it's time for O'Riley to start and his extra goal threat from midfield and ability to nick a goal out of nowhere in a game we're expected to win could be crucial as we know how it usually goes in these type of games!

I'd also be tempted to start Wieffer instead of Ayari to allow O'Riley more freedom to get forward and Wieffer to sit. Harsh on Ayari who has been brilliant but he has played a lot recently so I don't think a rest would do him harm and he's a great option off the bench.

How great is it to have these options in centre midfield now even with Baleba missing!

Weiffer and O’Riley to start in the middle for me. Might be tempted to start Ferdi at Right Back too and give Joel a night off.

Not sure what the plans are for Enciso but he only played 45 mins for the u21s (as planned) during the week. Perhaps everyone just felt he needed some game time to sharpen his match fitness. He did play some decent minutes for Paraguay of course just the other week (and scored. )
Looked pretty sharp in the u21s game. Tough for him given Pedro, Georginho, O Riley are in such good form.

Listening to the presser it was Enciso who asked to play in the game to maintain some sort of sharpness

I’d say Ferdi is def out and won’t be risked as he’s said Lamptey is in the squad. So who misses out in a 20 man squad here? I’d say Moder and Enciso.

Amazing depth now.
