Hi guys

In the new year I want to bring my father out to a game to celebrate a big birthday for him and was thinking of splurging a bit of cash to treat him and myself to some corporate hospitality.

Has anyone tried Bruno's, The Goldstone Lounge , HB's, or Mullery's ?

As a one off is anyone of these more preferable than the others?

Any advice as to whether anyone has had good or bad experiences at any of the above would be appreciated, or are they all largely similar?

Thanks in advance.

Bought Mullery's for two of my relatives a couple of years ago. They still say it's the best experience of
any football club where they've had similar and they do it quite a bit. They loved it and met/had a chat with the great man himself.

Took a large party of 20 to HB‘s around 7 years back. Really could t find anything to fault it. Our host worked really hard to ensure everyone was happy and having a great time.

HBs is pretty decent for football ground hospitality, done it a few times and always enjoy it. Food is pretty edible, beer and wine flows freely, half time and full time snacks too, and the staff aways seem very keen to ensure you have a good time. You'll probably get Chivs as your host, and Mullery will almost certainly come by and regale you with some of his stories.

We have done both when visiting Brighton as it is sometimes the only way we could get to see a game.
We did Mullery's a few years ago and the seats were on the shelf in the North West Corner but could be different now.
We did HB'S for the home game v Athens and the seats were on halfway pretty much.
Food, drink and service was excellent in both.

As others have said HB’s is very good. Stand alone restaurant.

Bruno’s on the other hand is in the MWB lounge so you are competing with all the other lounge goers. Plus the ticket you’ll get will likely be W2 so a few minutes walk which makes half time a pain as five minutes there and back doesn’t leave you a lot of time to drink your drink and have your complementary mini piglets pie. MWB is renowned for having terrible staff. When we did Bruno’s half our table were moving on to dessert before the other half had got their mains. They were very apologetic but not when you expect when you are paying £260 a head. Also we were ordering two drinks at a time as previously mentioned the bar staff are also dealing with the normal lounge goers as well.

HB’s is superb. I thought the ‘free’ bar might consist of a few drinks and then constantly flagging someone down etc but the staff are very attentive, you can have virtually what you want, when you want it. Decent food from a restaurant looking over the pitch and a match day seat right near half way. What more could you want?

HBs was good, courtesy of Mullers himself and came away satisfied with the quality and quantity.
