[Help] Anyone used/heard of Kitchen Magic, Birmingham? (and general reviews discussion)

Only throwing the dice around so not really looking for other recommendations etc, this is more of a discussion regarding on line reviews.

The wife booked a quote (which is now cancelled) from said company, being quite cynical I instantly checked on line, they’ve been going a few years but only seem to get 5 or 1.
On checking the post history of the 5s they seem to all be coming from the Midlands where the company is based meanwhile the 1s come from all over.
Firstly, has anyone first hand experience of this company? (although that ship has probably sailed now)
Secondly, what chance have we got with online reviews, are we at a stage where they simply can’t be trusted and carry no merit?

If it is putting on new doors etc to an existing carcass, there is a company called Dream Doors down in Barnham who seems to have been around a while and get decent reviews on Checkatrade. They have a physical showroom you can go into if that gives you more confidence.

Most recent set of financial accounts suggests a healthy business. Granted, there could be a litany of complaints against them, but at least they've got - or had at the last submission - sufficient funds available to put things right if necessary.
