Given the original poll started with Paul Weller in (who I love but also isn’t your classic rock n’ roller) I thought Bowie was a fair suggestion given his incredible and legendary career that yes, isn’t rock n’ roll like Robert Plant or Ozzy Ozbourne but still more rock n’ roll than Neil Tennant

Maiden fanatic here but Bruce fails a bit on the debauchery front. His best stuff was at school having 2 tons of manure delivered to his house masters door and urinating in the pot of peas.
