Have to feel sorry for the Citeh fans, though. This would be their first home loss in 2 years, poor things. 😇

Saints beat Liverpool tomorrow and we can close gap to just 3 points with a win on Friday before anyone else plays....... Liverpool v City next weekend......we could be talked about in the title race?🤣🤣
but even if we were 20 points clear we wouldn’t be talked about

Deepest, darkest Sussex
An awful lot of City ‘lifelong’ fans have gone to this game dressed as blue seats
Poor lambs probably remembered how much they hate Spurs from their days as lifelong Chelsea fans

so, now we start to find out just how good Pep is, its one thing managing a team that is effectively constantly winning, full of confidence, and whose opponents are basically trying not to lose by a cricket score. An entirely different thing to manage a team that is getting used to losing, whose opponents no longer fear them, that is losing confidence everytime they play
City had an aura of invincibility, and when they lost it was generally a fluke- thats all gone now, teams are realising that if they actually try to win, they have a chance and city really don't seem to know how to play when the other teams aren't scared of them

Will Pep and City come good? Yes they will, but the era of city winning just by turning up are now gone
