MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
- Bournemouth have won five of the 10 Premier League meetings. They've only beaten Everton more often in the division (seven times).
- Brighton have lost four of their five Premier League visits to Vitality Stadium. The exception was a 2-0 win in April last year.
- Bournemouth are seeking a fourth consecutive top-flight home win, which would be an outright club record.
- They are six places and nine points better off than at the same stage of last season.
- This is Andoni Iraola's 50th Premier League game in charge. He has 17 wins, 12 draws and 20 defeats.
- Evanilson can become the second player to score in four successive Premier League fixtures for Bournemouth, emulating Callum Wilson from August to September 2019.
- Brighton's total of 19 points after 11 matches represents their best start to a top-flight season.
- Nonetheless, the Seagulls have won only four of their past 22 away league fixtures (D7, L11).
- Albion have had an unrivalled 11 different goalscorers in the Premier League this season, excluding own goals.
- Danny Welbeck needs one goal to become Brighton's joint-record Premier League scorer alongside Pascal Gross, who scored 30 times.
- Welbeck has already equalled his best return for Brighton of six league goals in a season. His career-best tally is nine Premier League goals for Manchester United in both 2011-12 and 2013-14.
- Joao Pedro has been directly involved in six goals in his last eight Premier League appearances, scoring four and setting up two.
