Done a Frexit, now in London
I just finished watching "the girl across the street from the girl in the window"

Not really sure what to make of it, just a strange type of thriller with some dark humour (unless that's just me) thrown in. Did not predict the ending which is good as it was not obvious.

Just Finished S3 of the Lincoln Lawyer. Looks like S4 is coming next year.

Just finished season 1. Definitely watchable although a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the reviews I've subsequently read have suggested poor cast with good material and also the opposite. Bit of both at times, but the story kept my interest to the end now starting into season 2.

Ancient Apocalypse Series 1 & 2 is excellent. Graham Hancock is such an erudite and listenable author. His books are bestsellers for a very good reason.

Enjoying it up to a point. Well filmed, well acted. Essentially tho an Arab-Israeli conflict soap opera comprising 4 seasons of 30 minute implausible episodes. Very much doubt I'll stay the course into Series 2
I think only the actor's friends and families made it onto S2. Started out with great promise though. Better off rewatching Ripley.

Watching Sweet Tooth, it's a 12r, with the kids.. find it hard to find good series for the family on Netflix sometimes, so highly recommend this, it's a great watch. Breezed though S1 this last week, started S2 last night

If you’ve not already watched them our family really enjoyed the good place and atypical and my 14 daughter is obsessed with Lost!

We watched A Man Called Otto last night. Great movie that takes you through the whole range of emotions. Hanks excellent as always.
I thought it was Ok but certainly lacked something, Rolf Lassgård was superior imho in A Man Called Ove.

Ove

Otto

I felt similar with the excellent Rams, the original much more gratifying.

With Tom Hanks in it is good, but the original 'A man called Ove' IMO was better as a film and worth a watch.

I'll take a moment to recommend the English translation of the Swedish book on which the film is based, which I read first. A Man Called Ove.

The ending of Lost is pathetic, I liked the show but surely they could’ve come up with something better than that.
Agreed..the problem with not having a fully thought out written show rather than making it up as they went along..I’m not telling my daughter that though as she fully believes all the mysteries are going to get solved!
