I wasn't paying attention at the time but I read that Hague demolished Blair at every PMQT.

He had no need to write what he did about JP so hats off for showing a bit of class.
24.42 onwards- even the Labour benches were in stitches..

West is BEST
He withdrew his support for the stadium I believe but by then it was a done deal.

Either way, his initial support made a big difference.

He never withdrew his support. But as overseeing minister he had to remain impartial.

After it was granted he was anything but impartial. He tweeted how much be liked our songs about him, he told many people how our campaigns had touched him amd he came to see the stadium build ahead of the 2010 election and also tweeted his best wishes when we got promoted to the Premier league.

My wife’s family are from Hull and her Grandad was pretty close to Prescott I used to constantly nag / ask what was going on. He used to tell me don’t worry you’re getting your ground JP had to look impartial. He was always for the ground and he had an affection for the Brighton fans.

When would be an appropriate time to discuss his business links with China?

Yes, lots. I've never been paid by China for insights into our government though.
Who knows what he told them, but I wouldn't think he could say much more than the the Tories are a bunch of inept, self aggrandising, lying bastards and labour might be following in their footsteps....
