How on earth do you sleep in that?

Windows is telling me that it should currently be snowing and that we will get 10cm over the next 4 huors. I call bullshit.
I’m caring for my frail Mum who has a host of disabilities and vulnerabilities - I’d rather pay a little more in heating bills and not lose her to avoidable illness from being cold. I just turn down the radiator in my room if it gets too warm.

Just had a short snow dump here in Seaford. Started as hail and sleet and finally snow. Still very dark and looking like we’ll get more, so 10cm is very possible

Officially stopped in Findon. Will that be our lot for the winter of 2024/25?

Flumping in Burgess Hill atm
I’d never heard the term “flumping” before this thread, so had a quick Google.

What I found was… unexpected.

Warning - VERY NSFW!!

LOL> We had a similar incident in the early days of online forums - a running group I was on often referred to a gentle, easy-paced run as a 'bimble' ('I'm popping out for a bimble over the Downs later.....' etc)...............until someone came across it in the Urban Dictionary :lolol:
