Government Announced they cutting any new warships, attack drones, military hardware etc & lowering uk defences it seems. The west have boosted their military infrastructure from what I’m seeing.
Hope there is no war, however, I’m thinking we are closer now than in past years.

no.

though it's odd a couple weeks ago they wouldn't commit to budget changes, pending defence spending review, now announce some cuts without the same condition.

Have the looney tunes Labour led by Two Tier Kier just led the UK into WWIII by allowing Ukraine extended use of missiles at the same time they've cut defences?
Would you have been asking the same question if had been the Tories ? (who I suspect would have done the same)

NATO’s policies ( and thus ours) in Ukraine are largely led by Biden in alliance with the 29 other members not Starmer - it was inevitable we’d follow suit.

The Tories would very likely have done exactly the same if they were in power so your attempt to make cheap anti/Labour political points just looks ill informed.

Secondly, it’s Russia that’s been continually escalating the war for the past 2 years launching long range missiles into Ukraine destroying infrastructure and killing civilians.

NATO did not invade Georgia in 2008. Russia did. NATO did not invade Ukraine in 2014, and again in 2022. Russia did.

Edit - on second thoughts the ridiculous premise of the OP’s question didn’t merit a serious response.

The Tories had not authorised the same level of assault so its reasonable to say no the Tories would not have take the same action. What we can be certain of is huge austerity following looney tunes budget policies from Labour where the only measure they went towards getting it right was the tax Farmers will pay only it should be a on level terms with everyone else and at the 40% not 20% rate.

Before saying "NO" to WWIII I think its worth exploring WWIII could like quite different to WWI and WWII as the whole world looks quite different now in the fullness of time and everything that has gone along with that.

They are not. They are scrapping two assault ships which have already been mothballed. The frigate is structurally f***ed hence being scrapped. The chinooks are very old as are the drones. Saying that they need to be replaced soonest.

No. let’s face it half of the Tories were in Putin’s pocket anyway hence the reticence in some quarters in its support of Ukraine.

congratulations on linking WWIII to the farmers inheritance tax🤦‍♂️
