I have never warmed to Zoe Ball on the radio and as a family we can't settle on a morning station. Hoping the replacement is someone we can all tolerate so I don't have to listen to Capital radio anymore.

I'd imagine this feature has long gone but I gave up with ZB when she encouraged children to play musical instruments at 07.45 in the morning. I don't want to listen to little Johnny banging out London's burning on the recorder at the best of times but I certainly never wanted it with corn flakes and a morning cup of coffee. Who makes these production decisions?

As a grumpy bastard I found her too loud and excitable first thing in the morning, gave up listening very early in her morning stint.

I don’t listen to live radio much any more, but I remember her on Radio One in the afternoons back in the day and she was a bit much then too. She had a bunch of people basically there to laugh at her jokes and it got a bit irritating for my tastes.

Radio 2 you say?

I remember when radio 2 was good.

It had the football commentaries. Bryan Butler, etc.

And then the footballs moved to the new station, radio 5.
