Yes, but I was rather discounting that! If Marseille come calling, doubtless we'd do our best to make the mot of the situation.

Part of the reason why Duffus has recently started banging them in is that he was played mostly as a winger until this season, when the U21s began to play him down the middle, where he has looked far more effective.

I'd like us to keep looking at him until at least 2026, think he's really come into his own upfront this season especially against more senior sides.

I believe injury has played a considerable part in that, but even so that has not been a good start for him at Blackburn. Whether it's worth leaving him there to fight his way into the team in the second half of the season, or should we move him on loan somewhere else? Guess we'll find out in January.
Or maybe we could use him for half a season in PL2, prior to a better loan next year - if the likes of Duffus, Peupion and co. go out on loan our PL2 team could be left a little light.
