A strange interpretation. I thought it was fairly obvious that he was suggesting that he was trying to get tickets on several separate devices to maximise his chances.
Not for me this year. Saving up for a Wetherspoons Christmas dinner.

Anyone else think they want the same crowd every year? Friends of mine keep getting tickets.
That would be an incredible technical achievement.
Applicants were given a random queue number at 9am. Nothing to do with internet speed.
I had nine screens/devices armed. My son's crappy tablet 'won'.

Many folk are just really well organised.
When you hear that '48 friends' got tickets, it's not because all of them got lucky individually.
You can buy six tickets at a time, so six people should be trying to get tickets for your group.
And, ideally, your group of six should be on a list with other groups of six (friends of friends, and then people you don't even know). So if one of your six get through, the other five can try for another group etc etc.
There are some huge spreadsheets of reg numbers and postcodes knocking around.
And, yes, you should definitely be logged onto multiple devices. No need to refresh with the new system. You're either lucky (and organised) or you're not.

As far as I know (this might have changed in the 10 years since I last went) there is a full range of camping options but you need to already have a ticket...this ticket can be a regular 'public' ticket or one of the various guest/industry/partner hospitality tickets which are also available. At full tilt, I think there are around 230,000 people on site which is mix of workers, public tickets and indsutry/hospitalty. Celebs and hangers on will almost certainly have a ticket via an industry contact or connection. If you remember Dick Knight went many years ago on Fatboys list. I used to get my tickets from a music publisher.....this company was allocated a number of tickets depending on how many of their acts were performing....their acts in turn would have their own ticket allocation. I do not know how many public tickets were sold yesterday, but say it was 120k, given there will be 230k on site you can begin to get an idea of how many thousands of guest/industry/partner/hosp tickets there are floating around. If you look at the site map of Glastonbury you can also get an idea as there are non-public areas sets aside for guests/industry etc ...the obvious one is the inter-stage area

Apparently the licence is for 210k, and around 150k tickets are sold by Seetickets.
The other 60k includes artists, crew, volunteers, hospitality passes and kids under 13 who go free.
Hospitality passes are available in the industry for around £1000.

I'm one of those 60k volunteers, and can book my spot in january - i get nice quiet camping with showers and catering just outside gate B, can go from the monday onwards, and have to do 3 x 8hr shifts for my ticket. Though getting priority with Oxfam involves doing at least one other festival, so it is a bit of a time sink, and you will of course miss some bands you want to see. Its a great deal if youre flexible though

Didn't get beyond 2 bars on Thursday or Sunday sales but not too bothered. Although I would have been happy to go I got tickets for the two previous years and prior to covid, went 5 times in a row, so it has been a good run.
I am intrigued by how the new queuing process works though.
Does every device on the same IP get the same queuing number, or a different one? What is stopping someone refreshing through a VPN list until they get a more favourable queue position?
