nice that we're getting praise. I do think we should be on par with Villa for praise though. All i;ve heard in the last few weeks is Emery this Emery that, how good are Villa?

Now they are 8th or something and we are 6th I'd expect a similar period of praise from all concerned. I won't hold my breath,

By some distance, IMO.

Gets the blend of insight and comedy about right, most of the time.

Definitely up there, although it was better when Jules Breach was on it!

Personally my favourite is Football Cliches though I appreciate certain fan demographic’s will just not get it!

That was very good. The Guardian's Football Weekly also gave us a bit of praise. Nick Ames mentioned how impressive the recruitment is when you consider that we that we finished 6th two years ago and are 6th now and how few of Saturday's team also played in the team that qualified us for Europe. Taking the draw with City as a comparator. You can see his point: Steele, Colwill, Van Hecke, Estupinan, Gross, Enciso, Caicedo, Gilmour, Welbeck, Mitoma, Buonanotte started that game and Ferguson, Mac Allister, Undav, and Veltman came off the bench. The five in bold started yesterday and the seven in italics have gone (although only temporarily in Buonanotte's case). Saturday's match featured game time from eleven players who weren't in the squad for the 2022/23 match.
