Three for me now. First at the Goldstone with my dad as a spotty teenager and a few mates for the Keith Cuss game, second at Withdean in my mid 30's with my dad and soon to be wife for the penalties win, and then this weekend at the Amex as usual with my dad, mum, wife and daughter...having just turned 50. Many things change in life but the Albion are a constant!

'79 Beating City 4:1 days after thrashing Palace 3:0. "You're worse than Crystal Palace"
'81 4:1 again.
'83 4:0 and the Cup had our name on it.
'21 3:2 lucky to go to the Covid game
'24 3:2 the game that will forever be known as the '4 in a row'.
Exactly the same for me, so 5/7.

A few I’m sure but I did miss the 4-0 in the cup in 83. I was set to go however, overnight some bastard nicked my nephews BMX so I spent the whole of Saturday traipsing around the estate going all Charles Bronson.

With hindsight, and with it being January we’re now grateful his BHA calendar was left hanging on the wall untouched by the miscreant

I didn’t realise until now that I’ve seen all 7 …. Am I a super fan or just an old git?

At least 6 now. Tonight, that Covid game 3-2, the aforementioned cup game at Withdean, the notorious Keith Cuss game at the Goldstone in Division 2, plus the 4-0 and 4-1? victories in the Cup and League in 82/83.

And I've seen them all in person
Can remember hearing Helen 'the bell' Turner ringing her bell in the Goldstone West Stand back early 80s.

Three for me

Once at the Goldstone - with school-friend and his brother (both City supporters).
Covid - game was on my birthday and i was lucky enough to get a ticket - Atmosphere was even better than this weekend
Saturday - The most surprising of the lot.

Twice now, and more importantly my boys and I got to see the game in Covid. It was our first game back all together after their mum and I split. We'd all missed our time together at the Football and it was quite an emotional day for me.

I have no idea if I was there for the 1st in the series, back in 1979. I probably was, but I can't be sure.

I was only 11.

Looks like another ground to me…must have amazing eyesight to see it from Withdean 😉
Oops, you're right of course, it was at the Goldstone. My bad.
