The, 'Tony Bloom's Blue and White Army' rendition tonight was a thing of joy to be a part of.
I'd imagine it comes across as quite oppressive to the traveling fans when it goes on for so long, with so many taking part.
Mrs Scoobie said the same thing. She described it as creeping thunder, which I quite liked. Its the sheer persistence of it that makes it so good.

It goes back to that night at the Priestfield when despite conceding goal after goal the “Brian Horton’s Blue and White Army” chant went on and on, sometimes with only a small number singing ……then everyone (about 250!)

I think I'm like a lot of people in the East Stand, or certainly where I am (ESU towards the South). I'm not going to start singing on my own but if a few people round me get going then I'll join in. Also, I go on my own which makes it harder to strike up on my own. If I was with a few mates I;m sure it would be easier, especially if drink had been taken beforehand.

I think after the Spurs game in particular, the Amex crowd have twigged that actually, being behind in the game doesn't mean we can't win. As soon as a bit of pressure's applied as happened in the second half, we started to believe there was no reason why we couldn't get back into the game. That belief massively fuelled the atmosphere.

Absolutely magnificent - that's all.
It really was special second half. I would image Citeh in the away end were quietly impressed and it without doubt lifted the team to amazing heights. I am in W1A, and I've longed to see the WHOLE north united in song at full volume for a very long time – because the result of it is clear – it is infectious and reverberates around the whole ground. That second goal roar reminded me of the Marseille winner at home too!

TB's Blue & White Army enveloped the whole north, both North corners and crept along both West and East flanks. Was bloody marvellous. Am also a huge fan of "BHAFC... Blue & White Army... Oh-aye-i-ooohhh..". One of our few chants that keeps on rolling and rolling.

A brilliant, historic game and a brilliant and memorable atmosphere to match.

They can’t hear it. I’m a block and a half past halfway, towards the South. I didn’t hear TB's blue and white army at all. Apart from Albion, Albion the first thing I noticed from the north was You’re not singing anymore, after Pedro's goal. We only ever hear loud Brighton singing when it catches on across across the East. This isn’t a criticism of the North, just the acoustics in the stadium I guess. From where I am the away fans are always much louder.

I’m with @Professor Plum with this.

I sit in the front row of the WSU, 1 seat away from the south end wall. I can very rarely hear the NS singing, unless the WS joins in. The odd song comes through but, it’s very rare. I have mates who go in the North, and they have often said to me how loud it was in there, and all I’ve heard, is the away fans who do come over quite loud.
I’m sure it is just the acoustics, maybe as someone posted earlier, the sound is directed onto the pitch, not around the stands.

Having said all that, the crowd were LOUD on Saturday, a brilliant atmosphere that I commented about to my son at the time.

I thought the crowd were pretty good in the first half as well. At one point when it got a bit quite I could hear City singing "Is this the Eithad ? " , which was amusing. However, the second half was immense and I can't remember a spontaneous version of "Sussex By The Sea" breaking out before - and that was prior to us equalising.
