Hurzeler's definitely changed the way I watch Brighton games (for info, I live abroad so don't see games in-person, but I see every match on TV because the official Premier League streaming package here is a bargain).

Under RDZ I used to pretty routinely switch the game off if we conceded first, at least for the Premier League games (I watched the European games 'til the bitter end because that might never happen again). But now I always feel we've got a chance. If a stat fan is reading this, I'd be curious about the proportion of times we came from behind to win a game under RDZ and now, because my hunch is that there'll be a big difference. But it's just a hunch, so I might be embarrassingly wrong.

But anyway, the relevance to the thread title is that I feel he's communicating with the players at half time more effectively than RDZ used to.

Not a stato but heard the commentator say that Brighton have never lost when conceding first! I think he said we are the only team to achieve that this season. So that record still stands!

call me old fashioned but it’s nice having a manager who’s main strength appears to actually be managing, adapting to each individual game and making the right changes, even self-correcting, when needed to maximise the chance of a result. much better imo than a manager with an (albeit often brilliant) hallmark, intricate, never-before-seen style of play, that they refuse to deviate from under any circumstances, even when it clearly isn’t working.
