"My club"
I don't know how people can say this. How do you know it he's got the bug or not?If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
Harsh. He seems a decent, genuine, fun and hugely entertaining guy and I have no reason to believe anything negative about his suppprt. If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
He became a fan because of Caicedo, Pervis and Sarmiento. When Caicedo left, Pervis was injured and Jeremy had gone on loan we had no Ecuadoreans in the team for ages but he was still travelling all around the country to support the Albion. He barely ever misses a game home or away so in many ways he’s most likely more of a committed fan than you no?If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
Let’s be generous shall we? Not too much to ask for.If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
He’s stuck around after his players have largely moved on, and goes to every game pretty much home and away, providing excellent vlogs. He’s a better fan than many. I’ve never understood the criticism of him.If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
sorry if fixtures ... our Ronald is posting a little later than normal today
* by "our", I am claiming community ownership by the entire Brighton fanbase of the essence of Ronald
No need to be mean. That would also apply to loads of local BHA fans as well.If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
Truer than we’d like to believe imoNo need to be mean. That would also apply to loads of local BHA fans as well.
Well quite honestly it wouldn't set us apart from any other fanbase. I read a great post from a palace fan yesterday bemoaning their plight. One of the points made was that if they are relegated, they would 'once again be playing in front of 14,000'. It is just realistic. I have always been lucky enough to have my love for the Albion, but for me, like many die-hards, it is more akin to a religious conversion than simply following a club. I do not expect everyone to feel the same.Truer than we’d like to believe imo
I don't think he would, he enjoys the welcome we've given here and genuinely seems to have a connection with us.If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
But we're not going to get relegated, and we've FAR more chance of being in the Champions' League as opposed to going back to the Championship. If we got relegated and had a few years in the championship he'd be off to support another club. It's "my club" while the times are good.
I use the auto-translate subtitles on YouTube which does a decent enough job. I admit I usually only watch when we get positive results though.Would be nice for someone to sit him down and interview him.
Apart from anything else, I'd understand what he says.
Do 1000's of NSCers really watch a video of a football match they went to, in a foreign language.
Met him a couple of times on our travels, great guy.
I think I remember the Albion Roar interviewing him either last season or the season beforeWould be nice for someone to sit him down and interview him.
