[Albion] How close is this squad to being top 4?

The Big Six seems to have dissipated into The Big Three in recent seasons. We've just taken a point off Arsenal at their place. We've got a pretty decent success rate against Liverpool, and with the threat of a major points deduction hanging over Man City, it's entirely possible that there may be one or even two Top Four places up for grabs this season. Why not us?
I agree with this. Our signings are Top 4 signings, there is no reason to think it's not acheivable

I don’t think our signings are top 4 team signings at all. Top 4 teams buy well proven players over several seasons from top leagues. We are still buying potential from lower leagues or players with a season or so of pro football. Now they may all come good but It remains to be seen how many of them turn into top 4 level players.

That's a fair point, I'd class Ferdi, MOR, Rutter as better than that though, and Minteh maybe

At our best & everyone else's, I reckon we're top 4. There're some way deeper squads around though, so we'll see
Squadwise I have pool , city , Chelsea , villa, arse above us. Four of these teams have champions league which is draining.

As for the rest ... I'm gonna be bold and say we have a better squad than castle , spurs and man u.

We have a fairly good chance of top 6. It's so bloody difficult though.

This feels like a strange season where everything is up for grabs and anything is possible. The teams on the fringe of the top four are not showing consistency, so putting a run together - which Albion have never really done at Premier League level - is the key. That and staying clear of injuries.

More importantly need the English teams to pick up so it’s a top 5, not a top4.

Disaster of a week in Europe, was graded at 99.5% before this week for 5 CL teams.

Top 5 means good chance for top 8 to get Europe right ? At this point I would be disappointed if we couldn't manage top 8 this season.

We have a squad full of talent. Many of our players would improve the other squads, some of our players would be regular starters in "top 6" sides.

We have very few weaknesses and competition across the pitch allowing FH to make changes and throw on other great players.

We will be involved in top 4 conversations throughout the season and may just qualify for champions league if we can capitalise on poor form for others.

Shame chelsea are coming good, and the fact they play a 2nd 11 in the craps Cup helps them massively.
We just need some luck with injuries now and who knows.

I think our best 11 is better than Chelsea, Villa & Arses. Seriously .
Their depth may tell though, sadly

As we all know, a few key player injuries and we’d be having a much tougher time. We simply don’t have the depth of squad to compensate. We really struggled at the latter part of last season for this reason.
