Bring him on as a sub rather than sub him after he starts

City will not appreciate his aggressive energy late in the game, especially fragile De Bruyne.
With Ayari a doubt, Milner out, Moder unfancied, O’Riley never having played in the Premier League plus being just back from injury and Wieffer not up to speed yet, I think Baleba will be starting.

He is my favourite player ever in 50 years of supporting Brighton, I just love him. What a player.

Long may he whistle

Bissouma, Caicedo, Mac Alister and now Carlos Baleba.

How the f##k have this club found world class midfielders so consistently?

Weren't we told that it wouldn't last by clueless gisajob ex-pro pundits, jealous Nigels and idiot fans of the big 3 London clubs (and West Ham)?

He's the best of the lot by huge margins.

I was absolutely delighted to see him return today. I said to my boy when he came on that this guy will change things. Magnificent…

Changed the game when he came on at HT. I just love the way he picks up the ball and his first thought is just to run at or through their players and get us running on their goal.

Matt OR said in his post match interview that he's a beast. An accurate description.

You can argue he's the best of the three, but I'm not having "huge margin". A reminder - Caicedo went for a record £115 million and Mac Alister ran the world cup final for an hour while he was OUR player.
I see it with my eyes he is the best.

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me
Ah, love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

Then I saw his pace, now I'm a Baleba
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm in love
I'm a believer, with Carlos Baleba in our side!

I thought love was more or less a given thing
Seems the more I gave, the less I got
What's the use in tryin'?
All you get is pain
When I needed sunshine, I got rain

Oh, then I saw his pace, now I'm a Baleba
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm in love
I'm a believer, with Carlos Baleba in our side!

It's amazing how quickly he has developed.

We all saw last season that there was a player there, he had all the physical attributes but lacked some calmness in tight spaces and his passing was a bit wonky at times.

No longer.

Not sure he's surpassed Caicedo at his best for us yet, but he will this season if he keeps going like this!
