Just heard the whole interview - we are so lucky to have him onboard. Still wonder why bigger clubs haven't approached him, unless they have of course and he is very happy at BHA.
I think someone did, possibly Liverpool. I recall he received a loyaly payment (which was in the accounts) arround the same time. As for not moving on, I guess he's just happy with us. From the outside he seems a perfect fit and seems very happy.

He's very well paid and we're a great project. Imagine the enormous job satisfaction looking back on what you've helped achieve over the years, and what can still be achieved. He's found his happy forever home. Probably. I hope.

Indeed. It's not like a player who's career can finish at any time through injury or who will be retiring at 35, so need to take the big chance when it comes or they might never get another. Hopefully he'll be with us until he retires.

Agreed. Also if/when he does go I hope it's either retirement or he goes to the FA or PL as Supreme Chief, i.e. they just let him run the organisation as he sees fit. Or an MP. I think I'd be tempted to vote for him regardless of the colour of his rosette.

Anyway, enough of this brown-nosing. Why is the transport shit? Where's the monorail? Why isn't the fanzone finished? Why aren't we in the Top Four? Why can't we take bottletops in? #barberout.

He’s also a huge character and a force of personality. Whilst he dovetails nicely with Bloom I can imagine it will be more difficult with more egotistical owners.

When suitors came calling, Tony Bloom made Barber the club's Deputy Chairman - and gave him a modest personal stake in the club.

No Arab state or US Venture Fund are giving him either.

Reminds me of so many I have come across in the corporate world. Doesnt matter what they do or dont do on ground floor put them in front of media or a conference are absolutly brilliant and company they represent comes over as [perfect Still think instead of attending interviews he just needs to forward recording of any interview..
