The concept that is being discussed widely is that everyone will just get universal credit managed digitally to get things they need. I think the biggest issue is that people need jobs to have purpose and without that mental health issues will be off the scale.

I suspect if people had the freedom to leave their jobs or not work at all, mental health would considerably improve.

There are many ways to find purpose in life, which doesn't involve doing mundane work which, more often than not, only exists to make someone else rich.

I have a number of friends in the e-learning field.

Departments are being cut down to a third of their staff .

All replaced by AI.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you previous quite sceptical about the impact so would have?
