Scherpen and Yalcouye in Champions League action this evening.

Sheffield Wednesday keeping faith with Beadle in goal.

Edit: Also O'Mahoney on the bench for Pompey.

From the BBC web site:

The German side came into the match as the Champions League's top scorers this season, but they could not find a way past visiting goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen with their first 18 shots.

The 6ft 8in Dutchman, who is on loan from Brighton, made a string of fine saves in the first half, frustrating Marcel Sabitzer, Max Beier and Serhou Guirassy in quick succession.

I see Dortmund played Gross at RB tonight. Is that their first time doing that?

Clean sheet for Beadle. Faced only three shots on target but Norwich's Sainz is the Championship's top scorer at the moment so nothing to sneeze at.

Third game in a row he has played there for Borussia Dortmund. In the cup v Wolfsburg and v RedBullshit Leipzig in the Bundesliga at the weekend.

Reading through the thread it seems Osman, Moran, Scherpen and Yalcouye are doing well.

Anyone know how Barco and Cozer-Duberry have faired so far?

More Champions League action tonight - Osman leading the line for Feyenoord; no sign of Sima for Stade Brest though; injured?

ACD still not fit for Blackburn, it appears - misses the chance to play against Andrew Moran's Stoke City tonight. Further still down the pyramid, Odele Offiah is getting a night off - not in the squad for Blackpool's Tin Pot Trophy tie with Liverpool U21s.

ACD is out for at least another couple of weeks (and will probably need a couple of weeks training after that until he is back playing).

Championship -
Moran played for an hour in the early kick off match at Stoke; O'Mahoney awaits his chance on the Portsmouth bench.
League 1 -
Chouchane drops to the bench for the trip to Birmingham (where Leonard is still on the bench);
Doyle is on the bench for Exeter;
Offiah starts for Blackpool.
League 2 -
McGill and Barrington both start. BBB presumably still injured.

Still zilch north of the border. Sevilla (Barco) and Sturm Graz (Scherpen and Yalcouye) playing later.

Chouchane on for the last 20 minutes, Barrington off at about the same time. Scherpen and Yalcouye both start.
