Wowsers! What a finish! Not sure we entirely deserved it, but but playing with ten men after 6 minutes has got to go down as being a bit special.

Have we finally found a cup competition we can go on and win?

Just watched the last half hour again - wow!
That second half was extraordinary. The whole team had to dig in and with 20 minutes to go, they looked dead on their feet and likely to concede more goals. If I had to pick one player out it was Dufus. He defended from the front, worked his socks off to keep the ball and gradually got other players back into attack mode.

Plenty of other great performances, which means we shouldn't overlook what a fantastic job Shannon Ruth is doing with this group.

Last night was also the first time I had seen Charlie Penman. Not sure if he has been injured or with the U18s, but he doesn't have much experience at this level. What we do have is a tall powerful left footed centre back and based on last night he doesn't have the turning circle of an ocean liner. Another prospect to watch, amongst a talented bunch.

The Under 21s are meant to be playing Burgess Hill in the Senior Cup, the game was listed for the 13th but now seems to have disappeared from all schedules, anyone know when it is meant to be? @dazzer6666 maybe?

Its been moved for live TV jack.

The fella who knows how to stream it from his phone on X-Twitter can't make it that night.

According to the club website Charlie originally joined the womens team so has changed both surname and gender - the latest example of how innovative we are in our approach to young player development - https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/pages/en/player-detail-statistics-defender/577573

Phew thought it was another example of my multi tasking going wrong again.

Pull your socks up digital marketing team and maybe try focussing on one thing at a time - tsk

The club are streaming the Women's team versus Arsenal tonight via Youtube. I have a feeling this means no U21 stream, but that is based on nothing more than a gut feeling.

Remiero Moulton doubts there are many places better than Albion to be an academy player.
The 18-year-old was speaking ahead of our Premier League Cup game against Luton Town on Friday, which will be streamed live on our official YouTube channel.
The forward made the step up to the under-21s at the beginning of the season and has been delighted with how quickly he's settled in.
